The season of theses defenses is upon us again. In the next couple of weeks, 16 students will defend their master's theses at UW, with a smorgasboard of interesting topics. The first two go ahead on Friday 1 September, casting a light on zostera marina (common eelgrass) and the social carrying capacity of cruise tourism in Ísafjörður, a topic close to the hearts of us locals.
The defenses take about an hour each and the public is welcome to attend as usual, but there will also be a Zoom stream from each defense. Click on the links below to see the details.
