UW oversees exams for all universities in Iceland, and all students pursuing higher education can apply to have UW as their exam location. Distance learning students interested in taking exams in Ísafjörður, can make use of UW's distance exam service, which is also available in Patreksfjörður and Hólmavík.
If a student is interested in taking an exam at UW, it is very important that they first contact their university and complete the registration for a distance exam through the appropriate channels. They must also register UW as the exam location in Ugla.
