Lunc Lecture: Introduction to Arctic Protein – Pelagia

"In this lecture I will introduce the company Arctic Protein - Pelagia, briefely cover the history, describe the product we are dealing with (silage), describe how we are further processing silage today and what possibilities we have here in Iceland to use silage.

My name is Tómas Rúnar Sölvason, born and raised in Bolungarvík and moved back home in 2021. I have a Ms.c in Mechancail engineering from KTH in Stockholm where I lived for 5 years, first to study and then working for the truck manufacturer Scania. Before joining Arctic Protein – Pelagia in 2024 I worked at Marel as a mechanical designer in product developement for 7 years"
