Job opening: Project manager

The University Centre of the Westfjords is looking for a project manager for a 50% position. The project manager assists with a variety of project within the University Centre. For example,  organizing student trips and student visits,
writing texts, organizing the weekly lunch lectures, coordinating the distance learning, and managing conferences and other events at the University Centre.
The project manager works in a small but progressive university and research environment in Ísafjörður and has rich
opportunity to show initiative. The project manager will work in a small team but must be able to work independently in their field. 

Education and qualification requirements
• University education and work experience that is useful in the job
• Good speaking and writing skills in Icelandic and English
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Insight and ambition in work
• Initiative and flexibility in work
