Inauguration of UW's student dormitory

Friday 01.12.2023, on Iceland's Day of Sovereignity, the new student dormitory will be formally inaugurated.

In an extremely short time Fjarðastræti 20 has changed from some sheds which were close to falling down to UW's brand new student dormitory. The dormitory consists of two buildings, with twenty studio appartments in each. While the first students moved in on of the buildings earlier this autumn now the second building is ready and on this occasion people in town are invited to a formal inaguration on Friday, 01.12.2023 between 14:00 and 18:00 at Fjarðastræti 20b, the house next to Salem. Opening addresses will be between 14:00 and 15:00. Welcome all!
