Documentary screening at UW: Deep Rising

"Deep-Rising", a documentary about deep-sea ecology and the effects of deep-sea mining on the ecosystem will be shown at UW (class room 4) at 7pm on Tuesday April 7th.
 
Synopsis: The fate of the planet's last untouched wilderness, the deep ocean, is under threat as a secretive organization is about to allow massive extraction of seabed metals to address the world's energy crisis.
An UW student has been allowed this screening of the movie so don't miss out on this one-time opportunity.
